This year is a huge step for me! It's the first year without being in school with Lexi, the first year being an upper classman, and the first year DRIVING TO SCHOOL! Holla!!
Getting my license has been such a blessing! Nothing beats being able to go where I want, when I want! If I want to stay for a basketball game after school, I CAN; if I want to go out to eat, I CAN; if I want to go to a movie with friends, I CAN!! Ahh, it's great. No accidents or tickets yet either!
Being without Lexi at school has been pretty weird at first! I've gotten used to it now, but it definitely took some getting used to.
As an upper classman, I have the opportunity to be a Link Leader, this year! I get to mentor the freshmen and give them advice and stuff. It's been a ton of fun so far and I can't wait to learn and serve more in the future!
This year is going to be the bomb and I can't wait!!
Well, here we go again! Another year! I'm actually really pumped for this year! I have great classes and amazing friends. Here's the schedule:
1.) Pre-AP Physics
2.) AP Psychology
3.) AP US History
4.) AP Human Geography
5.) Lunch
6.) Pre-AP Pre-cal
7.) Communication Applications
8.) AP English
All these AP classes are going to kick my butt, but I can't wait to take care of business; making college cheaper one class at a time! I have most of my classes with my great friends too. This year is going to be a blast!
This year, I am the Teacher Appreciation Committee Head for student council! It's been a blast so far and I can't wait for an awesome year! Each six weeks (6 of them overall), I have to come up with a gift to give all the teachers in the school. THANK GOODNESS FOR PINTEREST!!
This six weeks, Pinterest helped me come up with this idea as a Back-To-School gift! They were bags of M&Ms with a note on the outside that said "Wishing you a Most Marvelous school year!" I got a lot of positive feedback on these; they went really well! All of the teachers loved them! I was freaking pumped!
I can't wait for a full year of giving out little gifts! Teachers really do give the students a lot and this is just a simple way student council, myself included, can give back!
